Sex toys and accessories can be a huge benefit to most people’s sex lives, but we don’t talk about them openly enough. That’s a shame, because here at WIRED, we have many thoughts on all the gadgets you can use to spice up your romantic relationships or share your joy with others.
Whether you’re buying for a partner, getting a gift for a friend who could use a little more self-care, or wanting a date night out of the norm, sexy gifts can be a thoughtful option. Few things show you care quite as much as helping someone live their most pleasurable life. We’ve chosen a few of our favorite lingerie and date-night subscription boxes and sex toys, including vibrators and suction toys. Best Date Night Book
One of the first in the now exceedingly popular date-night genre, The Adventure Challenge, Couples Edition, has 50 ideas to keep things interesting. All of the date ideas in the book are covered up by a gray box, with symbols indicating whether the date will be outdoors, if you’ll need transportation or a babysitter, whether it’s a day or night activity, how much time it takes, how much it costs, and more (so you have an idea of what you’re getting into), but the date will still be a surprise. Based on the symbols, you’ll scratch off to reveal the date beneath (like a scratch-off lottery ticket). While some of the dates can be a little cheesy, it’s a great way to spend intentional time connecting deeper and doing things with your lover you wouldn’t normally do. Plus, it can also be a great jumping-off point for other date ideas.

Best Vibrator for Vulvas
For most people with a vulva, it takes at least 20 minutes—if not more—to become aroused. Even when aroused, people with vulvas sometimes struggle to become wet. Everyone Could Use a Little Magic

Naming your sex toy the “Satisfyer” is a bold move, but it’s a moniker that the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 earns. It’s a suction toy, which means it uses a little mouth to produce the suction and tapping sensation provided during oral sex. It’s a very different kind of sex toy than the traditional vibrator.

When beginning the lingerie subscription service, you fill out a style quiz that asks you a series of questions about style preferences and a human stylist creates a unique box for you or your lover. The box also comes with a guide on how to measure your cup size, with troubleshooting tips, a measuring tape, and a zippered net case for washing the delicates.
Underclub Subscription Box for $35 (Underwear): With Underclub, you can give both a practical and sexy gift to your lover every month. Subscribers can choose between a bralette set with a matching top and bottom or two pairs of underwear bottoms delivered each month. When you sign up, you’ll be asked a series of questions about your personal preferences and a stylist will curate an underwear box for you. The bra sizes range from XS to 2XL, 30 to 42 inches in band size, and A-DD.
Lelo Sona 2 Cruise for $112: We once called this “the Cadillac of suction toys” in our Best Clitoral Suction Toys guide. It’s small and discreet, and can be as gentle or as intense as you like. They have a stylish hexagonal pattern that Lelo claims makes the condoms sturdier, and they didn’t break as easily as others in our tests.
